Sym-Tech Dealer Services agrees to buy SSQ Dealer Services’ distribution business from Beneva
Quebec City, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario, November 2, 2022 – SSQ Distribution Inc., a subsidiary of Beneva Group (Beneva), has entered into an agreement to sell SSQ Dealer Services’ distribution business (“SSQ Dealer Services”) to Sym-Tech Dealer Services (“Sym-Tech”), a subsidiary of Amynta Group.

For the third consecutive year, international credit rating agency A.M. Best Co., specialized in the insurance sector, gave SSQ, Life Insurance Company Inc. a financial strength rating of “A (excellent)” and issuer credit rating of “a”. The future outlook of both ratings is stable.

The Bureau de la normalisation du Québec (BNQ) renewed the Elite Health Enterprise certification awarded to SSQ Insurance, still the first and only insurer to have this certification. An audit to determine compliance of organizational practices promoting workplace health and welfare conducted last November confirmed renewal of the certification.
